The more flexible you are with times the more likely you will find a space. And yes you can park at the resort if you have a restaurant reservation. That would be incredibly stupid of Disney to make it so difficult to get to the restaurant. You cannot walk up to Ohana and try for a table.
We have had waits up to 30 minutes even WITH a reservation. The lounge area is always full of people with buzzers waiting for their table. They can't even keep up with their reservations it is so popular, they certainly aren't going to take on walk ins on top of that. You can get some of the same food at the Luau or Trader Sams or the lounge if its the food you are after. For the all you can eat meat on a spike, keep checking for cancellations is about all you can do.
Ohana is certainly wonderful but as the others have said "walk ups" are not going to happen there. They book solid very far in advance. Keep checking for a cancelled reservation though, you may get lucky. Remember if you go around the time MK starts their fireworks you can see them from the restaurant AND they pipe the music in also. It's fabulous.

Wifi frequently very slow. Pros: big clean rooms and a decent balcony. Great water pressure and hot was always available. Rooftop plunge pools were a great place to relax and see the city view. Staff always offered smiling service and I felt I was a guest in their home. Fresh breakfast buffet though typically predictable. Cons: Wish hotel would designate the rooftop as adults only and direct families with their screaming kids to the ground level swimming pool.
I don't believe little kids should be jumping and splashing in a plunge pool or hot tub meant for adult relaxation. Several days parents let their toddlers play in rooftop plunge pools Fantastic value hotel. Great breakfast on roof overlooking river and town. Staff on front desk top class.
Manager missing when for 2 days 10 Malaysian men spoiled the stay of all guests by their drunken behavior at pool and all round the hotel! I love the hot and cold rooftop jacuzzi's with the great view.
Breakfast is nice as well, hopefully someday it will be extended until 11am. This is the nightlife center! I was charged for three drinks from the mini bar that we never took. I guess you should take. Although the rooms are a bit dated they are more than fit for purpose. Air conditioning is good, breakfast is fine, swimming pool and in the thick of the entertainment area, but still quiet. Would book again. First visit to this hotel and was very impressed - good location, clean, spacious room and a generally pleasant property to wander around.
Great ground floor pool which was super clean.
